Beavers Boost Their Community with Big-Hearted Donations

This week, our Tuesday and Friday Beaver groups welcomed South Derbyshire CVS for a special session all about food banks.

The children proudly became “Food Bank Champions”, learning about their local community and how they can help others. They enjoyed a food-bank themed story, explored which items go into food parcels, played games to help “Bean Man” fill his bags, and even created their own Kindness Christmas cards.

With wonderful support from their families, the Beavers also donated an incredible selection of food items to the CVS food bank. These generous contributions will make a real difference to local people in need this winter.

We were truly overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness and generosity.
